Adding a New Resource

From the main ProjeX toolbar menu there is the option to Edit/Update our resource workbook (this is available under either resources or cost).

This bring up the main Add/Edit dialog.

From which we click the 'Add new Resource' button

We have the general resource name, an abbreviation (which is used as the sheet name in the Excel workbook) the hours the resource is available (a computer might be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while an office worker might only work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week).

The cost of the resource can be defined as hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or as a total cost.

There is also the option now to select the team the resource is in. For example you might have several groups of employees one set in Aberdeen another in Houston and a third in London and need to show where the resource is from.
