Using Resources with ProjeX

I try to allocate a resource to a task and get the message "Not a ProjeX task"

There are two possible problems :

1. When you use the right mouse the cursor must be over a task on the ProjeX sheet.
2. With versions of ProjeX prior to 97.0.10.1 a Gantt chart needs to be produced for ProjeX to 'see' more than the number of tasks originally in the sheet.

This means just generate a Gantt chart on that ProjeX sheet and then try again. This quirk has been corrected for later versions of ProjeX.

Can I mix resource time definitions in one project?

With versions of ProjeX prior to 97.0.11 the short answer is no. The problem is not the allocation itself but the plotting of the resources. With the earlier versions of ProjeX a given resource needs to use the same time definition type for each of the tasks allocated to it.

With the latest versions of ProjeX you can mix and match percentage allocations with hours or days as required.
