There are two ways for
ProjeX to represent tasks
- A task is specified by its start
and duration (and the end date calculated). [This is the only
option available with the freeware version]
- A task is specified by its start
and end ( and the duration is calculated).

There are two ways for ProjeX to
generate a new sheet
- The first (default) is to always
start with the example ProjeX sheet and then add
and edit tasks as required.
- The second is to specify the
number of tasks for the new sheet. When the sheet
is generated the task entries and durations are
left blank for the user to fill in.

|
This is the name that will appear on the sheet [can be
edited later]. |
|
This option is useful for inexperienced users of
ProjeX. If selected the cells that the user should change
are shaded blue and those that are automatically
calculated are shaded grey. |
|
Currently every time tasks are updated the user must
regenerate the Gantt chart for the chart to be updated.
In future there will be an option to automatically update
the chart. |
