Removing an allocated resource from a task

We have allocated a resource to a task and then realize we will not be using the resource for the task after all, how do we 'unassign' it?

If we want to remove the senior geophysicist from Data loading, we select the task using the right mouse button and then the 'Change resource ...' menu option.

This brings up the following dialog

By setting the amount of the resource allocated to 0 (and pressing OK), ProjeX will remove the resource allocation from the task.

 

Deleting a Resource from the resource workbook

From the main ProjeX menubar select the Edit/Update option

This brings up the main Add/Edit Resource dialog. From here click the 'Delete a Resource' button, select the resource to remove from the dropdown list and delete it.

All entries for the resource will be removed!
