Producing a vacation planner using PlaneX

Generating an vacation planner for the office is easy using PlaneX.

For this example we have four employees:

We have a new (empty) Excel workbook, what do we do now? We can split the process for each employee (and lets call them resources from now on) into:

  1. Define the resource in PlaneX

  2. Enter the vacation dates (PlaneX thinks of these as tasks assigned to a resource)

Having setup each resource and entered their vacation dates we can then generate a year or month planner. Resource can be added (or deleted) at any time, old vacation dates changed and new added. Regenerating a new plan is as simple as pressing a button.

Lets look at entering the employees' details into PlaneX.
