PlaneX is available in three forms:
All use the same approach of generating a monthly or yearly plan on an Excel worksheet which can then be annotated and printed off. PlaneX has the additional functionality of being able to plot colored timelines for resources or tasks.
After downloading and installing the add-in in Excel the first stage is to produce the plan on the sheet. From Excel's menubar select the first option to generate the plan.
This brings up the parameters dialog where the year (and month) and type of time data to plot can be selected.
