We have all our dependencies set, now we can replot our Gantt chart with the dependencies. Before we do that there is an option available to draw arrows between dependent tasks so we can see the dependencies (and edit them if required).
From the 'Display Style' tab of the 'Display Properties' dialog select the option to 'Draw task dependencies'. Also in order to set the task dates based on the dependencies we need to select the option 'Use dependencies ...' from the 'General' tab of the 'Display Properties' dialog.
We are asked if we want to overwrite the starting dates using the dependencies prior to the Gantt chart being generated.
We now have a Gantt chart to submit to management/the client.
