The free version of TrendeX is available for download over the Web. The freeware version has limited functionality but does not run out. You can purchase the full version of TrendeX.
TrendeX only runs in the MS Windows environment with versions of MS Excel that are 97 or later.
To download and install TrendeX :
- Put the zip file in a temporary sub-directory and uncompress it using a tool such as Winzip. You will find one file :
- TrendeX 97.0.xla - The Excell add-in macro.
- Copy the TrendeX add-in file (TrendeX 97.0.xla) to your Excel library sub-directory, for example c:\msoffice\excel\library.
- Start up Excel and go to the ‘Add-ins’ option under the ‘Tools’ menu.
- Select the Browse option and move to the Excel library in the window that appears.
- Select "TrendeX 97.0.xla" from the available add-ins.
- The Add-ins option can now be closed with TrendeX installed on the Toolbar (will only be visible when a workbook is open).
Successful installation of TrendeX will result in the TrendeX menu appearing between Window and Help on the Excel menubar.
