From the main PlaneX menu select the option to add tasks to a resource in the workbook.
We need to select the resource to add the task to from the dialog that appears.
Once we have selected the employee (resource) we can add a description of the vacation (task) and set the start and end date for the task. The default color for the bar that will be plotted on the planner is the color we set for the resource.
If we click the 'Add' button the employee's sheet is updated and the dialog stays up so we can add the other vacations for all our other staff. Of course the plan could also be used to schedule training course and/or conferences.
Having entered our dates for the staff we want to produce a planner showing who is off when.
